Our school is in Huatan Township. It is in a quiet and beautiful place with golden rice fields all around us.
A long time ago, people built a temple here to help children learn. That’s why our school is named "Wunsiang," a special place for learning.
We work hard to make our school great. We are always getting new things for our classrooms, like new computers and books, to make learning better. We also have many fun clubs with great teachers. You can join these clubs to learn new things and find what you are good at.
At our school, we believe in helping you grow in every way. We want you to:

很久很久以前，人們在這裡蓋了一座文祠，幫助孩子們學習。這就是為什麼我們的學校叫做「文祥」，一個很棒的學習園地。

Wenxiang Elementary School Visits Sijhou Elementary School for a Fun Bilingual Learning Day
文祥國小小5生參訪溪州國小 體驗沉浸式雙語教育與SDGs教學
Fifth graders from Wenxiang Elementary School visited Sijhou Elementary School on April 25. They joined a special bilingual class taught in English by a foreign English teacher. The students learned about protecting the Earth and saw how Sijhou Elementary School used both real and online tools for learning English in different subjects.
Principal Cheng of Sijhou Elementary School showed the students around the campus. They visited many places where students could scan QR codes to hear stories in English. Teacher Julianne from the Philippines led a fun lesson about the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The students talked about saving energy and caring for the planet. Director Jian also used iPads to help students practice speaking English and take online quizzes.
After the tour, student Wang Xuan-Wu said he liked scanning QR codes to listen to English stories. Student Su Yi-Zhen shared that she enjoyed learning from the foreign English teacher and hoped her school would have a foreign English teacher too, so they could practice English every day.
Principal Yang of Wenxiang Elementary School said her school is working hard to grow students’ English skills through bilingual classes. She hopes students can learn more about different cultures and make friends with the world.
Starting this year, Wenxiang Elementary School has bilingual PE classes. During the visit, they even had a fun bilingual dodgeball game with Sijhou students! Teacher Lin Jia-Jun said these activities helped students use English in real life, making learning even better.
文祥國小的五年級學生在4月25日到溪州國小參訪。他們參加了一堂由外籍英語老師用英文教學的特別雙語課。學生們學習了如何保護地球，還看到溪州國小怎麼運用實體和線上資源，在不同科目中學習英文。
溪州國小的鄭校長親自帶著大家參觀校園。他們去了很多地方，發現只要掃描QR碼，就可以聽到英文故事。來自菲律賓的Julianne老師也帶來一堂有趣的課，介紹「永續發展目標」（SDGs），大家一起討論節能減碳和愛護地球的做法。簡主任也安排了用iPad練習英文口說和線上小測驗，讓大家更有自信說英文。
參觀後，學生王玄武開心地說，他很喜歡掃QR碼聽故事。蘇奕甄同學也分享，她覺得跟外籍英語老師上課很特別，希望文祥國小以後也能有外籍老師，讓大家每天都可以練習英文。
文祥國小的楊校長表示，學校一直努力推動雙語教學，希望讓學生更自然地學英文，認識不同文化，交更多世界朋友。
從今年起，文祥國小也在體育課加入雙語教學。這次參訪還安排了跟溪州國小的雙語躲避球友誼賽，展現了兩校在推廣雙語教育上的成果。林佳君老師說，這樣的活動讓學生能在生活中自然使用英文，學得更開心更有效。
